Business Gap Check — Terms of Use
Effective August 20, 2026.
The Business Gap Check is operated by First Coast AI, LLC, 25 N. Market Street, 1st Floor, Jacksonville, FL 32202. Using it means accepting these terms. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
1. What this is
An automated assessment. It reads what a website and its domain publish publicly, scores that evidence against a fixed checklist, and produces a report. No human reviews your report before it reaches you.
2. What it is not
It is not legal, accounting, tax, insurance, or professional advice. Where the assessment identifies something in one of those areas, it names the profession you should speak to and stops there, deliberately. It does not tell you what to do, and we are not your attorney, accountant, or agent.
It is not a security assessment. We do not attempt to log in, access anything not publicly served, test for vulnerabilities, or probe ports. A clean report is not a statement that your systems are secure. Do not treat it as one, and do not represent it as one to an insurer, a client, or a regulator.
It is not a guarantee of outcomes. The report describes what we found and what would close each item. It does not promise rankings, traffic, citations in AI assistants, revenue, or any other result, and nothing in it should be read as promising one.
3. What you are promising us
By submitting a website you confirm that:
- You own it, operate it, or are authorized by someone who does; or you accept that you will receive a reduced report marked as unverified.
- You are not submitting it to gather material about a competitor, to disparage anyone, or to test our infrastructure.
- The email address you give is yours.
- You will not submit a site you have been asked to stop submitting.
We verify domain ownership only by comparing your email domain to the submitted website. That is a weak signal and we treat it as one: a matching address unlocks the full report, a non-matching address does not.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- Submit domains you have no relationship with, in volume
- Automate submissions, or attempt to bypass the verification email or the rate limits
- Resell, white-label, or republish reports as your own work
- Use the service to build a dataset about other businesses
- Attempt to access reports belonging to anyone else
We rate-limit per submitter, per address, and per submitted website, and we may block any of them without notice. The last of those exists so that this service cannot be aimed at one business repeatedly, by anyone, including us.
5. Your report
Your report lives at a private link containing a long random token. Anyone with that link can read it. Do not post it publicly unless you intend it to be public. Reports are not indexed by search engines and are deleted after 180 days.
The report is yours to use inside your business. The checklist, the scoring, the report format, and the software behind them remain ours.
6. Recommendations and our services
Where the report identifies work we could do, it says so and says which of our services would cover it. That is a sales recommendation and you should read it as one. Where the work is not ours to do, the report says that instead and names who should do it. We are not paid by anyone we refer you to.
You are under no obligation to buy anything. The free scan stays free.
7. Availability
Provided as-is and as-available. We may change the checklist, the report format, or the service itself, and we may take it down. A report reflects what was publicly visible at the time it ran; the web changes and yours will go stale.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent Florida law permits, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the service or from any decision you make based on a report. Our total liability relating to the Gap Check is limited to the amount you paid for it, or $100 if you paid nothing.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. If a report concerns your business and you did not request it
Email support@firstcoast.ai with the domain. We will delete the run and the report, and block the domain from future submissions if you want that.
10. Governing law
Florida, with venue in Duval County, Florida.
